  32. Not wanting to get too far off the LightWave path, Scott, I'd say they
  33. could have a non-linear system (JPEG, etc.) even if it did "finalize" to
  34. tape.  After more thought though, the copious amounts of storage that
  35. would be required to save full-motion (true 60 field) video would be
  36. costly.  Maybe the new MPEG2 (due in '95) will make non-linear editing
  37. more attractive.

  39. The more I read about an accelerator for LightWave, the more that makes
  40. sense.  Do think the guys in Topeka need to start addressing the editing
  41. side though.  An audio Toaster seems like a nice start.
